PSE Associates was named ‘Construction Supplier of the Year’ at the Whitbread annual supplier conference at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday 25 September.
The award was presented to Director Matt Mills by Alex Flach, Construction and R&M Director at Whitbread. PSE Associates works on Whitbread’s projects in the South of the UK and shared the award with Monaghans, our counterparts in the North.
Reasons noted at the presentation for PSE Associates securing this award included our high standards of cost control on an important work stream and our cost modelling, which has resulted in savings exceeding £3 million across the programme.
“We are very proud to have been presented with this award; it highlights our ongoing and close working relationship with Whitbread, particularly with regards to its Premier Inn extension projects,” says Matt Mills.
“Cost modelling has been at the heart of our relationship with Premier Inn and, over recent years, we have developed and maintained a detailed cost database. This enables us to manage construction trends and to better forecast future developments with appraisals derived from real time cost information.”
